Nursery and Early Years
Early Years- Nursery and Reception
Welcome to Early Years with Mrs Wilde, Mrs Squires, Mrs O'Brien, Mrs Faveger, Miss Sadie and Miss Natasha.
Spring Term 2
Topic - Changes, Changes, Everywhere!
Welcome to all the new parents and children that have joined our school family in September. The children have all settled in really well and made some great friendships.
We will be continuing with our news writing sessions every Monday morning at 08.50am till 09.05am. We really appreciate the support shown so far and really hope this continues. The children love the support from loved ones to write and mark- make about their weekend adventures. This is a chance to support your child with their writing and to see their progress throughout the year.
This half term, our topic is ‘Changes, Changes, Everywhere' and 'Easter' so is set to be another busy one. Through our topic of 'Changes, Changes, Everywhere' we will be reading a variety of information books and learning about life cycles of plants and animals.
Thank you to all the parents that have contributed to our planning this half term, we will try to cover as much of your suggestions as possible. This half term we have got a ‘Nature Detectives’ role-play indoors and a 'Garden Centre’ role-play outdoors.
In Early Years, we really encourage and appreciate the input of parents/ carers and if you have any ideas that you have yet to give us that fit into our topic, or know of any special interests your child may have, please let your child's key person know. If you have any comments, questions or concerns about any part of your child’s time at school please talk to your child’s key person or alternatively Mrs Wilde.
Thank you for your continued support
