School Council

Our School Council represents the views of all our pupils. It gives children the opportunity to make their voices heard and feel part of the whole school community. The council have a display board in school, so have a look at the information, Each class council member has a photo display and ideas area in their classroom so it is easy to talk to them and to put your ideas forward.

Times Table Rock Star Challenge has arrived!

Time to put your knowledge and skills to the test, whether you choose to play in class or put yourself forward to play against another class the the ultimate title of BMT Rock Star Legend 2022, good luck. Just a mention to say very well done on choosing to use the funds from the event to support the Ukraine Appeal - we are all proud of your response. 

It has been another challenging year for our school council, trying to operate within COVID restrictions where whole school events are still not possible.

This hasn't stopped them though, they have canvassed the classes to hear everyone's voice, they have organised playground equipment, to ensure we all stay as active as we can during lunchtimes and and even created a new school playground pledge.

Watch this space as hey are currently working on developing and running a Key Stage Two Timestable Rock star Challenge - the big showdown! 

It is always a nervous time, do I or don't I put myself forward for school council? Well done to all our Year 6 children who answered this question by saying, 'yes, I will.' Everyone did themselves proud by working hard at planning and preparing their presentations and delivered them with such confidence. The election was successfully run and congratulations to our those elected. Good luck, the hard work begins now.
