  • Scarecrow Harvest Festival

    Wed 16 Oct 2019

Children and staff had great fun on Friday – dressing up and donating to CAFOD and Mary’s Meals along with hands on fun creating a class scarecrow! Everyone rolled up their sleeves and got their hands full of hay to create the most amazing scarecrows. Each class decided to create a scarecrow that reflected their curriculum vehicle for learning – some very clever and creative ideas. Have a look at the photos and see if you can choose a favourite, good luck deciding. If you are able to attend the congratulations assembly you will be able to cast your vote and help decide the overall winner!

The whole school celebrated Harvest Mass last Thursday with Father Michael and Father Joseph. It was a wonderful celebration and thanksgiving, a special thank you to children, families and staff for collecting so many tins, packets and jars of food. Christian food aid and the signpost centre were very grateful to receive the items and will make wonderful use of everything donated.
