Christmas Children's Celebration

Father Michael and Father Steven are inviting families to a Christmas production of the nativity taking place on Christmas Eve in St Patrick’s church at 4.00pm. If there is anyone willing to help organize this event, they are looking for volunteers to help out with costumes, lights, refreshments etc., then there is a meeting on Friday (tonight) 9th December at 7pm in St Patrick’s church, all welcome.

Our wonderful Year 6 have been making waistcoats for teddy bears, as part of their DT learning this week. They have really surprised us with their design and sewing skills.

Advent in School
Fri 02 Dec 2022We are very excited in school, Advent has started, songs and lines for plays and concerts are being learnt and we have launched our reverse advent calendar today! The idea is that each class works together as a team to create a small gift that includes food and a Christmas card, all beautifully decorated. As a reminder, the advent calendar items will be donated to St Austin’s food bank as an extra special Christmas treat for those who may need it this year. This is a lovely way for our children to live out one of Saint Teresa’s sayings,
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small thing with great love.”
