  YEAR FOUR

  Year 4 enjoyed a morning by the local River Sow as it runs through Victoria Park.

  They walked a short distance in each direction to see how the river and the use of land

  around it changes. The children thoroughly enjoyed the excursion and the discussions.

  EARLY YEARS CLASS

  Today, Early Years took part in an online class liturgy with the other Early Years classes in the MAC. The focus of the liturgy was Mary, in line with May being Mary's special month, something we have been learning about in our RE sessions.

  We were asked to set up a special area with Mary as the central focus. We prepared flowers before the liturgy which we decorated and wrote special messages on and prayers. The children were so well behaved and really enjoyed being a part of something different. Well done Early Years.

  Our Nursery children have been learning all about people who help us to stay healthy. They have been exploring the contents of a first aid box.

  After talking about the different materials children created their very own!

  We all so very proud of our children – they are amazing.

  

• Netball Tournament Success

  NETBALL TOURNAMENT

  Well done to our Netball Team who, took part in the Catholic School’s Sports Tournament held at Blessed William Howard High School. The Team had amazing success and won the tournament. We are very proud of you. Our thanks to Mrs Peet and Mrs Reader.

  

• Congratulations to Year Six

  Congratulations to our wonderful Year Six for completing their SATs this week.

  They approached the whole week in such a mature manner, they worked hard during the preparation, and they supported each other and smiled their way through some challenging test papers!

  We are all so very proud of you – you certainly did your best.

  Well done, we hope you enjoyed your celebration lunch - Domino’s Pizza!

  Good luck to our Netball team who will be representing the school at the Catholic Schools Tournament held at BWH on Tuesday 16^th May at 4pm. Special thanks to Mrs Jackson for organizing our new netball bibs, the team look so smart.

  Our wonderful Year 6 took time out of their busy SATs week to work with their buddies in Early Years. Year 6 had created computer games and it was time for them to try the games out. As you can see from the picture – the games were a great success!

   The activities included baking and finger printing flags.

  Everyone enjoyed the morning and the refreshments provided by our school PTA.
