  • Mary's Meals

    Fri 25 Sep 2020

Magnus Macfarlane-Barrow the founder of Mary's Meals visited Blessed William High School this time last year and some of our children were invited to listen to him speak. He told them about the important work that he does working to feed the poorest children in the world. It all started when he visited Malawi and met a 14 year old boy called Edward who told him that his dream was "to have enough food to eat" and "to go to school one day." Our school and all the schools in the Painsley Academy are working hard to raise money this year for Mary's meals so that the great work can continue. Thank you to all our parents and family who are helping us raise this money.

We are currently selling coloured writs bands at a cost of £2.00 from the school office, £2.00 provides 24 meals!

They came to give the children an expert eye in to the world of fitness as part of their curriculum vehicle learning. They certainly put everyone through their paces including Mrs Spruce., have a look at class fives page for the photos! We look forward to welcoming them back next half term.
