Tolkien Reading Day
Fri 25 Mar 2022We were lucky enough the have M&M Theatrical Productions visit school to help us celebrate World Book Day and Tolkien Reading Day with their performance of The Hobbit. The children in all year groups had a wonderful time and enjoyed a live performance which included a huge spider and dragon!
Did you know that we have a Tolkien Walking Trail right on our doorstep? The Staffordshire Tolkien Trail comprise three walks on Cannock Chase. Prayer for Ukraine
Fri 18 Mar 2022This week KS2 joined together to have a special assembly helping us to think about the current
situation in Ukraine, the children thought carefully about the people in Ukraine and Russia.
They understood just how important it is for us to help by remembering them in our prayers
and to remember them with our almsgiving this Lent.If you feel the children are upset by anything they hear about in the news please do let us know in school. Times Tables Rock Star Challenge!
Fri 18 Mar 2022Well done to all our children who entered the KS2 times table rock star challenge. Everyone who entered took part in a tense play off! It came down to a very close final between; Leo and Marie for Y5 and Y6 and Malachy and Amaris for Y3 and Y4. They all did amazingly well but there were two gold medal winners, Leo and Malachy. All went home with prizes. Money raised is going toward our Ukraine appeal.

BMT Choir Raise The Roof
Fri 04 Mar 2022Wednesday night saw our BMT choir performing for the first time in two years in the Stafford's Gotta Sing concert. The children paid tribute to the 90's band Take That - and they were amazing! A massive thanks to all parents for supporting the children with the songs - they did you, the school and Take That proud!
