Communication Charters
Our Communication Charter
Learning to live and grow in love by following Jesus.
At Blessed Mother Teresa's, our Catholic faith guides how we treat and communicate with one another. We believe in showing kindness, respect, and compassion in all interactions, following the example of Christ.
Our Communication Charter sets out clear, shared expectations for how staff, parents, and pupils communicate — ensuring our words and actions reflect Gospel values and support positive relationships.
The Charter Supports:
Respectful communication, even during difficult conversations
Clear and timely contact between home and school
Listening with empathy and responding with care
Modelling faith-filled behaviour for our children
Together, we create a community rooted in love, understanding, and the shared goal of helping every child thrive in faith and learning.
The principle of "treat others how you want to be treated" is found in the Bible, it is our school's golden rule and was taught by Jesus: "Do to others as you would have them do to you". Luke 6: 31 and Matthew 7:12. This command encourages empathy and kindness, urging people to act toward others with the same respect and love they desire for themselves and is at the hear of all our communications.
