Recognising, counting and ordering numbers to 20

Counting on

Number bonds e.g. 3+7 =10 8+2=10

Doubling/halving e.g. 6+6=12 12 divided by 2 =6

Division e.g. dividing a number into groups e.g. 12 divided by 3 = 4

Height- Comparing the height of objects and using language such as tall, tallest, and taller. Short, shorter, shortest.

Distance – Looking at how far objects travel and what may affect the result.

Weight – Explore objects and their weight using scales. Look at estimation and consider our findings.
