Nursery and Early Years
Mon 12 Jun 2023NURSERY AND EARLY YEARS
Following on from Nursery and Early Years' Curriculum Vehicle of People Who Help Us, we received a visit from Staffordshire Police today. The Community Support Officers came into school to talk to the children about their role in the community and talked to the children about how they can stay safe. We were really lucky that they brought a police car onto the school car park. The children were able to get into the car and have a chat with the Officers about the different features of the emergency service vehicle. What a lovely finish to our Curriculum Vehicle.

International Recording Superstars
Mon 12 Jun 2023INTERNATIONAL RECORDING SUPERSTARS
Time to celebrate! Our school was chosen to be featured in Howard Jones’ 2023 song ‘With This Hope In My Heart’ which has now been released. It was a project to bring together the voices of young people from all around the world to blast out an anthem for hope and peace. Our school choir was one of only three in the UK to make the cut! A massive well done to Mrs Dickins and the choir who can now officially say they are international recording superstars!
Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2h--_2i7C3A to have a listen to their beautiful voices and look out for our school name in the credits.

Donations Welcome
Mon 12 Jun 2023DONATIONS WELCOME
Our Year Four class are busy planning to improve our outdoor areas as part of their Science and Geography learning.
They are looking for any kind donations from families to help.
It is just a start of many things needed.
They are particularly hoping for items which could be used as a bird bath, homes for butterflies and ladybirds to add to the Prayer Garden.
A huge thank you to our families who have already donated a bird bath and table, which look fantastic in our Prayer Garden.
